Outside the realm of project management, I am a passionate multi-medium artist who thrives on creativity and artistic expression. My artistic journey encompasses a variety of forms, from silversmithing and jewelry making to drawing and painting. I particularly enjoy crafting intricate beaded earrings, where the delicate interplay of color and texture allows me to explore new design horizons. My love for art extends into every aspect of my life, as I continuously seek to infuse color and visual appeal into my surroundings. Whether I'm working on an elaborate painting or designing a piece of jewelry, creativity is at the heart of everything I do, enriching both my personal and professional endeavors.
Work at Cappuccino Man
My journey into the world of coffee began at the age of 15, when I donned my first barista apron with the iconic Cappuccino Man—a delightful venture launched by the father of my best friend, Sarah. Together, we brought our coffee carts to a variety of private events across metro Detroit and beyond. Throughout high school and my college summers, the coffee beans kept me grounded, even as I explored life out west.
In 2017, I found myself back in the heart of metro Detroit, working full-time at Trader Joe's. With Sarah now co-piloting the Cappuccino Man enterprise alongside her dad, I joyfully returned to the espresso machine part-time. In 2022, following a layoff from my Project Manager role, I seized the opportunity to join Cappuccino Man full-time as the business was experiencing significant growth. Now, as I look to transition back into the project management field, I carry forward the invaluable skills and rich experiences gained during my time with the Cappuccino Man.
